Ice Cream Social with the Zoo Animals

Another favorite summer activity of mine is the Ice Cream Social at the Denver Zoo! It's in the evening so the air is nice and cool and the animals are all out and the crowds are minimal because it's for member's only! And to make it even better it's make your own ice cream sundaes complete with ALL the best toppings!

this peacock was very social and excited to show us his pretty feathers!

the leopards needed a nap...

this elephant must have been tired of holding up his very heavy trunk!

two very excited girls! hum are they more excited for the animals or the ice cream?

this elephant was happy to talk to us!

Adeline loves to ride the train!

the rest of us enjoyed it too!

Colby loves the zoo too! Ha Ha something tells me he's here for the ice cream!

we rode the carousel

Adeline loves it!

And now it's ICE CREAM time!

I want more... hurry up with that spoon already!

The rest of us had ice cream too! Apparently I didn't think it was worth documenting though!

A good time was had by all!
