The weekend before Christmas we took the girls to The Denver Botanical Gardens, Trail of Lights. It was really cold outside, just right around freezing, so we bundled up warm and headed out! Emmy wouldn't keep her gloves on, so 20 minutes later when we got back in the car she was pretty cold and upset, but other than that it was great fun! And the lights were beautiful!

As you walk over the bridge they have the creek all lit up with lights. It's hard to see in this picture but it was really cool with the water frozen and the lights all down the creek.

These trees are pretty cool also! And they are huge!It was a great little seasonal outing... but 10 degrees warmer would have been much more enjoyable!
